If navigating your business through the current economic environment is keeping you awake at night or if you would like to help others with advice and insight, or even a bit of both, then Breakfast Exchange would like to welcome you to its guest list.
These quarterly, by invitation-only events, co-hosted by Richardson Swift, publishers The Business Exchange, and Thrings Solicitors, have been developed to enable entrepreneurs and experienced business owners alike to get together and tap into the great experience and expertise of the business community, share insights into current challenges, and have access to informal guidance from law and tax experts.
The launch at the Ivy in Bath in March 2023, attracted over 60 businesses and charities from across Bath and the surrounding area to help and support each other as well as listen to inspirational stories from successful entrepreneurs Steph Wilder from The Good Day Cafe and Simon Rollings from the Canned Wine Co.
Both Richardson Swift managing director Debbie Boulton and Thrings partner Ramona Derbyshire, were also both on hand to provide insight.
Over coffee and pastries, they compared notes on the obstacles and opportunities faced by those trying to grow a business in recent years, impacted by the likes of Covid, Brexit and the cost-of-living crisis.
Since then the event has gone from strength to strength, regularly attracting upwards of 90 local business people to each session, and as well as an enviable list of speakers ready to share their experiences.
